Prince George stays up late to meet Obama

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama met with Queen Elizabeth and her son Prince Philip at Windsor Castle outside London, England, arriving on the castle grounds by helicopter.

After that, Prince George was most likely sent to bed since his 11-month-old sister, Princess Charlotte, was already tucked in.

According to People, Princess Charlotte is said to have her own version of the sleepwear ensemble but with pale pink gingham trim and embroidery.

The little prince also sat on the rocking horse that the Obamas had given him when he was born.

The Queen called Obama’s bevy of choppers “over the top”, meaning the Secret Service had to rethink their plans to land about six aircraft in the 300-year-old gardens of her main residence.

The Obamas were greeted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on their arrival at the Windsor Castle.

It is the third time the queen has received Obama since he became president.

The young prince really stole the show when he approached the Obamas in his jammies and slippers, complete with a cute little robe, and shook their hands in greeting.

One photograph shows George smiling up at his mother, Kate Middleton, as he plays on the rocking horse, which has the presidential seal embossed on its saddle.

One royal source told the Daily Star Sunday: “It was a write-off and the Queen was not amused”. Oh no, Prince George is just clearly too cool to care.

It capped the end of a long day for Mr Obama and his wife Michelle, who earlier in the day had lunched with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
