So far, Nintendo has only announced one game for the NX which is The Legend of Zelda that will also launch in 2017. That much we already know. “Fire Emblem” and “Animal Crossing” franchises are getting their own mobile games that are slated to be released this fall, according to Nintendo.
For those hoping to get a preview of the Nintendo NX during this June’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, there’s some bad news via Ars Technica: Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima said in the company’s earnings call that the next generation system will not be appearing at this year’s E3.
The speculation comes shortly after the technology giant confirmed its new NX console will be released in March 2017. Although we don’t know what that “new concept” will be, Nintendo has patented a couple of different controllers, the most recent of which was granted yesterday.
