Packers take UCLA defender with 27th pick, but pass on Myles Jack
The 2016 National Football League draft kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, and it’s a day Green Bay Packers fans have barely been able to wait for. Kenny Clark is a very good choice to do that. Clark stepped up his game in the previous year of his collegiate career and even though nose tackles don’t fill up the stat sheets he’s a fun player to watch who gives complete effort on every down. Another option would have been Alabama’s Reggie Ragland.

This is actually a surprise considering Myles Jack was still unselected at the time Clark was chosen, plus, many experts had Clark a 2nd round pick.
Could Green Bay someday host the NFL Draft? He’s 6’3, and 310 pounds.

I was a bit shocked at first because Clark wasn’t the best available defensive tackle, but the more I think about it the fit makes sense. In 2015, he was one of the top defensive lineman in the country, recording 75 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and six sacks. A first-team All-Pac 12 selection last season, Clark also batted down five passes.
