What do you think of Prince George and the Royals hosting President Barak Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama?
But it was two-year-old Prince George who stole the limelight after pictures emerged showing him shaking hands with the American president in blue gingham pyjamas, monogrammed dressing gown and a pair of slippers with aeroplanes on.
“The President’s officials were told that the Queen regarded Windsor Castle as her family home and the most important of all royal residences”, the report said. For the 90-year-old who likely has just about everything, the president bestowed a custom album filled with historical photos chronicling the queen’s visits with USA presidents and first ladies.
The private lunch lasted around an hour before the Queen and Philip said goodbye to the outgoing USA leader and his wife. Prince Philip personally drove the President and the First Lady to their castle in his Range Rover.
“Michelle and I are pleased to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the joyous occasion of the birth of their first child”, Obama said in a statement at the time of George’s birth.

The Obamas are now on a brief visit to the United Kingdom which has included lunch with birthday girl HM Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle and a press conference with David Cameron about the country’s European Union membership. Prince George’s tiny personalized bathrobe, from online retailer My 1st Years, sold out within minutes after adorable photos of him meeting the Obamas surfaced online on Friday, April 22.
