The 3G variant is priced at CNY 899 which is roughly Rs. 9,000, and the 4G model is priced CNY 999, which is roughly Rs. 10,250.

The Kirin 960 shall be having Cat support along with 12 LTE speeds and CDMA networks making t the first true full netcom chipset from the flagship.

As far as the processor is concerned, Huawei is using its own homegrown Kirin 650 64-bit octa-core processor, which is a mid-range processor in the same league as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor.

The specsheet starts with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with FullHD resolution.

Gizmochina suggests that the Huawei Mate 9 will launch in late 2016, which would make sense considering the Mate 8 was announced late past year.

When it comes to camera, the Huawei Honor 5C sports a 13 MP rear camera with an LED flash and another 8 MP front camera for selfies. On the front will be an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 77 degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture lens. Connectivity is covered by 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the EMUI custom UI layer on top, version 4.1 to be specific. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery pack. The smartphone comes with regular Micro-USB charging port. It measures 147.1×73.8×8.3mm and weighs 156 grams. Under the hood we can also find a pretty large 3000 mAh battery and on the back of the metallic finish there’s also a fingerprint sensor similar to ones we’ve found on other Chinese devices.
