Woods, 68, went to Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday to file a suit against the anonymous tweeter, known as “Abe List“, for a tweet in which he called the actor a “cocaine addict”.

To which Abe List retorted: “cocaine addict James Woods still sniffing and spouting”. The probably-pseudonymous Twitter user, “Abe List“, made the crack July 15 in response to an asinine Woods tweet that called Caitlyn Jenner “Bruce” and hyped up the bogus Planned Parenthood “baby parts” scandal in one foul breath. Woods says he sued “to unmask and reveal AL for the liar he is and to recover in excess of $10 million in damages”.

“Woods is not now, nor has he even been a cocaine addict, and AL had no reason to believe otherwise”, the filing states, adding that AL’s tweets, which began as “childish name-calling”, have “clearly escalated beyond the projects of free speech”. “They are not impervious to the law”.

That month, the conservative actor trolled many by tweeting what seemed to be a birther-related comment towards President Barack Obama. “In the past, AL has referred to Woods with such derogatory terms as “prick, ‘ ‘joke, ‘ ‘ridiculous, ‘ ‘scum” and ‘clown-boy.'”. First, he’ll need to identify the defendant, which probably means that Twitter should be expecting a subpoena soon.

Abe List only had 2,274 followers on the site, but Woods still insists that some of his 238,932 followers could’ve seen the tweets.

THR notes that Woods did not state in his lawsuit whether or not he attempted to “block” the user from following him on Twitter, or if he ever filled out a form to report the alleged abuse.
