As he campaigned ahead of the Indiana Republican primary on Tuesday, Mr Cruz took issue with former House speaker John Boehner’s barb.
A day earlier, he testily told reporters that primary voters in California – the final primary state – had a right to have their voices heard.

“This is truly one of the greatest acts of desperation I have ever seen”, Trump’s son Eric posted on Twitter. Polls in the last month show Clinton winning by close to nine percent, according to a VOA news article.
But Trump says he welcomes the opportunity to oppose Clinton in the general election in November. “I think he’s going to go at least through California and maybe through the convention”, Arzt said.
Cruz has agreed not to campaign in OR and New Mexico in exchange for Kasich pulling out of Indiana.
The next primary is scheduled in IN next Tuesday.
