They missed nine straight attempts during Charlotte’s 18-0 run, connecting on 34.2 percent from the field for the game.

Buzz City came to life in Game 3 as the Charlotte Hornets finally solved the Miami Heat and cut the series lead in half.
On the other hand, the rookie Frank Kaminsky is fast but he isn’t smart, takes bad shots sometimes and doesn’t always play like a big man. He shouldn’t try to shoot threes in game four because many players on the Heat can make them and he needs to leave that role to his teammates who are more efficient from three point range.
After the Miami Heat blitzed the Charlotte Hornets’ defense in Games 1 and 2, they went into Charlotte in Game 3 facing a Hornets team without Nicolas Batum.
Luol Deng hit his first four 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 19 points to lead the Heat. Owner Michael Jordan was in the Hornets’ bench all game and celebrated with the Hornets after getting the victory.
In what is looking like an interesting series, the two teams have battled back and forth to take control of the series. “Obviously, it’s a good win and it gives us a chance”.
Jonas Valanciunas led the Raptors with 16 points, and Kyle Lowry and DeMarre Carroll each had 12. “I hope (I can play), but I really can’t say yes or no”, he said.
The Miami Heat hope to keep the trend alive with home teams winning every game in this series.
PACERS PULL LEVEL In Indianapolis, French center Ian Mahinmi scored 22 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and handed out five assists on Saturday to help the Indiana Pacers to a 100-83 series-tying win over Toronto in the National Basketball Association playoffs.
The home team has dominated all four games in this series, so you’d be insane to bet against the trend. Dwayne Wade added 17 and Hassan Whiteside tallied 13 points and grabbed 18 boards but couldn’t stay out of foul trouble.
The Heat, up 2-1, are looking to push Charlotte to the brink when they meet at Time Warner Cable Arena on Monday (7 p.m., Fox Sports Sun and NBA TV).
Chris Paul finished with 26 points for the Clippers, who had held the Blazers to an average of just 88 points in the first two games – down from an average of 105.1 in the regular season.
Several Miami Heat players were disappointed to what they perceived as “lopsided officiating” during game 4. He lead the Heat in scoring in two out of three games in the series so far. Batum hurt his left ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 2 and he will be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
Mason Plumlee had six points, 21 rebounds and nine assists for Portland, which hosts Game 4 on Monday night.

“I started on treatment after the game”, Whiteside said, “and I just got treatment later on”.
