There’s at least one sweet escape from the collapse of Gwen Stefani’s marriage to rocker Gavin Rossdale.
After the couple split in August previous year, it was widely reported that Rossdale’s torrid affair with the nanny is what prompted Gwen to leave. He has agreed to an unequal split in the divorce so that Stefani can retain more of the funds accrued during their marriage. Both also agreed to have an equal joint custody of their children, sons, Kingston, 9-year-old; Zuma, 7-years old, and Apollo, 2-years old.
Rossdale will likely see even more of the boys than his ex, at least when she’s on the road touring and continuing to make the millions that Rossdale appears so disinterested in. The No Doubt front woman allegedly discovered her husband’s affair with the nanny while surfing through her family’s iPad and landing on naughty texts between the lovers.
“If I could, I would just tell you everything, and you would just be in shock”, Stefani told New York Times of the details behind the split. Although this divorce was very hard, Gwen has accepted it and has moved on.
The divorce settlement is still pending a judge’s approval, but once it’s finalized, Stefani would be free to walk down the aisle again, which could be good news for her boyfriend and The Voice co-star, Blake Shelton.
“It’s still painful. I’m looking at the pieces and going, ‘What is happening?'” she recently confessed during an appearance on “Good Morning America”.
