Google Calendar helps make the most of spare time

Google just launched a new function called “Goals” for its Google Calendar app on Wednesday. After that, the app will fill in those spaces in your schedule that running can fit in. The calendar will look up your schedule and updated it accordingly to that particular goal.

Choose an area in which you want to improve or an activity you wish to schedule more time for, choose how often you want to do said activity, and select the best time of day for the activity – morning, afternoon or evening.

Then, if you have conflicting activities, the algorithm will automatically reschedule it.

Google has recently introduced other new features to Calendar to help people better manage their time and make certain they take care of items on their to-do lists. But although this latest Google Calendar feature is similar to other personal productivity apps, the publication notes that one advantage of Goals is the fact that it is part of a tool that many people have been relying on for years.

Google has made several design and functional improvements to its mobile apps that users require nearly every day such as the cabs feature and offline maps in Google Maps, manual backup option in Photos, Indic languages support in Google Keyboard and data saver mode in the Chrome app. It already has a predictive “cards” function that shows you information you might be searching for before you ask. Rather than popping up only at the originally scheduled time, Reminders keep reappearing in Calendar until the task is completed. As reported in their official blog, it will allow you to keep track of the time or even be ahead as per your requirement. Please let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
