Third Planned Parenthood video released

Ben Carson on Tuesday slammed Planned Parenthood, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper that the women’s health organization “doesn’t seem to understand the sanctity of human life and is willing to destroy that”.

“The videos that have been released have been heavily edited and also portray outright lies of the practices of Planned Parenthood and none of the allegations in any video is true”.

Recent reports of Planned Parenthood selling fetal tissue prompted Kentucky Sen. “Rallies like this here in Columbus and across our nation today allow us to speak up and to speak out against the abhorrent actions of Planned Parenthood“. More than 100 protesters with signs gathered outside Planned Parenthood in south Fort Myers Tuesday.

O’Donnell told the Center for Medical Progress that during her employment with the Planned Parenthood-affiliated company, there was “incentive to try and get the hard stuff ’cause you’re going to get more money”.

Planned Parenthood offers cancer screening, contraceptives, infant mortality programming and family planning services, said NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio director Kellie Copeland.

Anti-abortion advocate and lobbyist Bobbie Patray, president of Tennessee Eagle Forum – a longtime Planned Parenthood foe – told the small crowd the controversy over the videos may spell the end of federal funding.

O’Donnell said she thought she was hired just to draw blood, but ended up disecting the body parts of aborted babies. Planned Parenthood serves 76,000 New Yorkers a year with sexual and reproductive health services.

“People have every right to be concerned if their money is being used to fund abortions particularly abortions if they’re for the collection of body parts or things of that nature” said Senator Johnny Isakson. They say fetal tissue is not sold but donated in the name of science to help cure diseases and improve vaccines.

Demonstrations like this were held across the country.

“The fact of the matter is it’s much more sophisticated than these little creatures that the Environmental Protection Agency is trying to save”, said Carson, accusing the government of saving snails but not human lives.

The protest comes after videos emerged showing Planned Parenthood employees discussing the donation of tissue from aborted fetuses.
