Cruz won virtually all of the 28 at-large national delegates and roughly split the 27 delegates selected by congressional district.

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz predicted Donald Trump will fail to amass the delegates needed to clinch the nomination before the party’s convention in July in Cleveland.
One day after Trump’s appearance at the Republican convention in Burlingame triggered massive protests, the GOP gathering settled into relative calm Saturday.
Trump gets support from 49 percent of likely Republican primary voters – followed by Cruz at 34 percent and John Kasich at 13 percent.
“My job is to rebuild from the ground up, and we’re not changing anything we’re doing”, Brulte said. Recent polls give him a big lead in California. Ted Cruz pulled out a strategic victory Saturday.
Several Trump supporters reported getting significant logistical help from Trump’s team during their own campaign to become delegates.
In Pence’s endorsement of Cruz on April 29, he also spoke glowingly about Trump, saying he wanted to “commend” Trump for giving voice to those who are frustrated.
“I am honored to have the support of Governor Wilson, a solid Republican leader whose lifetime of public service demonstrates how Republicans focused on providing solutions to the challenges facing the American people can win in blue states as well as red”, Cruz said in a statement. “And a vote for Donald Trump is basically a vote for Hilary Clinton”.
Hillary Clinton may be the frontrunner to secure the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election. “I gotta take a pee”, Jenner says as she approaches the hotel. “If you’re a Republican in California, you have a Democratic president you don’t like, Hillary Clinton is likely to be the Democratic nominee, you have a Democratic governor”, said Matt Rexroad, a GOP consultant. “‘I’m not against anybody, I will kind of vote for this guy, I guess, but I don’t want you to read into it'”.
Overall, Trump has 996 delegates, compared to 565 for Cruz and 153 for Kasich, according to the AP delegate count. The other candidates were facing questions about why they’re still running.
Trump’s campaign hopes his dominance of the airwaves will let him run the table in a state where ground-level campaigning is often eclipsed by television ads and the media.
“In this speech, Donald Trump once again didn’t stand with Israel”, Cruz said.
“The will of the voter in St. Louis City and the will of the voter in St. Louis County said vote for Donald Trump”, said Wiegert, a retired St. Louis police officer who used to be the president of the St. Louis Police Officers” Association. Will he ever switch from Trump?
Still, Cruz already appears to be looking past the state in some ways. Instead, she’s leaning toward Trump. Like the rest of Pennsylvania, his district went for Trump.
