Officials are looking for suspects who got away with more than 500 pounds of explosives.

The 32 cases of commercial-grade fireworks were reported missing Thursday and believed to be stolen from a CSX train shipment. The cases include 2.5-inch and 5-inch aerial commercial-grade fireworks shell, which are used in public fireworks displays.
An unidentified law enforcement source told CBS News the theft has raised significant concern that the fireworks could fall into the wrong hands.
Duvall-Jones said no one had been arrested in connection with the theft, but the investigation was continuing.
The train was heading from Chicago through OH to Detroit.
The search is reportedly underway in three states of Michigan, Ohio and IL. The ATF says they don’t believe that it is terrorist related, but they are investigating. CBS reports investigators said the explosives, classified as fireworks, were stolen along the route.
Officials aren’t yet sure about a motive, but they said terrorism is unlikely.

Dawkins said it’s possible the thieves took the fireworks to sell them for a profit.
