Civil War has been receiving rave reviews thus far and looks set to break a fair few box office records both domestically and internationally.
“Civil War” brought a new addition to its team of superheroes as Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) recruits Spider Man (Tom Holland) to be part of Team Iron Man.
And the ticket sales for “Civil War” are only expected to grow.
When it does open in the US, on May 6, the film could be looking at a monster box office with analysts projecting ticket sales around $200 million. This polarises opinion among the Avengers, causing two factions to side with either Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) or Captain America (Chris Evans), resulting in an epic battle between former allies.
Paul Rudd loved taking “swings” at the stars of “Captain America: Civil War” while they were wearing their superhero outfits.
Arguably, Avengers: Age of Ultron has been the biggest opener for the Marvel Movies so far, the Korean Market saw an nearly blanketed market by 91% of Captain America: Civil War.
The film is now playing in 63 percent of the global marketplace, where pre-release tracking suggests its box-office haul could rise to $200 million within five days. The screen goes to black, and we see “Spider-Man will return”.
The film includes multiple heroes and characters from the Marvel franchise including for the first time Spider-Man alongside other Avengers. Winter Soldier will be the required character to fully complete all the nodes in the first run of the “Civil War” event, while upcoming character, War Machine, will mark the second run scheduled to start later in the month. The movie is eyeing a $175 million opening in the USA when it debuts on May 6.
