The Washington Redskins addressed their pass defense on the second day of the National Football League draft, selecting USC hybrid linebacker/safety Su’a Cravens with the 53rd pick and Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller with the 84th pick.

As a Trojan, Cravens continued to show excellence on the football field, racking up 207 tackles, 34.5 tackles for a loss, 10.5 sacks, nine interceptions and four forced fumbles in three full seasons.
He can play linebacker and saftey but I feel like the Redskins will use him to cover pass catching tight ends.
Earlier in the second round, Jacksonville took UCLA linebacker Myles Jack, who slipped out of the first round over concerns about his surgically repaired knee.

Doctson has been one of the most productive receivers in the nation the last two seasons, and when it comes to the tape, he can back up all those numbers. I think he’s got the best hands in the draft also.
When the Redskins were on the clock in the fourth round with the 120th overall pick, they traded it to the Saints, who selected defensive lineman David Onyemata from the University of Manitoba. “Phone gets to ringing, so it really was sudden”.
Marshall ran the fastest 40-yard dash time among running backs at the NFL Scouting Combine at 4.31 seconds.

In his senior year, Su’a Cravens earned a USA Today High School All-American selection and was selected as the USA Today High School Defensive Player of the Year, leading to his participation in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. We’re going to take a good long look at him.
