Leicester champagne on ice, City crash at Southampton
The Red Devils managed to move a point closer to fourth-placed Manchester City on Sunday after they drew 1-1 with Leicester at Old Trafford and their local rivals were beaten 4-2 at Southampton.

Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater will not face further disciplinary action after being sent off in the Premier League leaders’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Second-place Tottenham, who are eight points behind Leicester, must beat Chelsea away on Monday to keep alive the title race.
Man Utd vs Leicester City scores and results will be posted here. “United started very well and it was hard for us to restart. If our strength is being solid and concentrated, then we must continue”.
The visitors thought they deserved a penalty when Riyad Mahrez clashed with Marcos Rojo in the United area, but without the suspended Jamie Vardy they lacked their usual threat on the break. “After their goal I thought, we have to react immediately, and fortunately at the first free kick we scored a goal”, the Italian added. “I come back from Italy at the same time as the match”.
Not all Tottenham fans, however, were that confident, while Chelsea supporters looked forward to the chance to end Tottenham’s dream.
“I’m very frustrated because I didn’t expect that performance, especially in defence”, Pellegrini said.
“The side that wins the match is going to finish third because I don’t think Tottenham are going to lose their three matches”.
“We suffered a lot because they pressed so high”.

And with just four minutes to play, Leicester were reduced to ten men when Drinkwater was shown a second yellow card, pulling back Memphis Depay on the edge of the Foxes’ box. This isn’t a team with players of the talents of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, these guys just work very hard for each other! The problem the draw has caused now according to Rooney is that it is “going to be tough to get in that top four” which was the aim at the start of the season.
