Clinton raises $26 million in April for primary bid

“He is the candidate who is in the best position to bring a new generation of voters into the democratic process and restore the faith of working-class voters that we can have a government that works for all of us, not just the 1 percent”.

After Hillary Clinton’s near-sweep of five states on Tuesday, the Bernie Sanders campaign is in dire straits. On the other hand, both ads state that both candidates “support letting transgender men go in little girls’ bathrooms”. His rally is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m. Campaign finance rules strictly discern between primary and general election fundraising – and CNN’s Jeff Zeleny reports that Team Clinton needs to refill its coffers for the preconvention stretch ahead.

Officials say the event is free and open to the public but strongly suggest an RSVP. “And if those superdelegates conclude that Bernie Sanders is the best candidate, the strongest candidate, to defeat Trump and anybody else, yes, I would very much welcome their support”.

Clinton said she wants to be a president that “brings manufacturing back” to the country.

Details on the event’s whereabouts have not yet been released.

Noting Clinton’s terms as a senator from NY and as secretary of state, Wallace pressed Trump on whether the slap was “kind of dismissive”.

Ms. Clinton, in Indianapolis, did not bother mentioning Mr. Sanders’ name. But he also acknowledged, “We have an uphill climb, no question about it”.

Sanders said during the news conference he expects to do well in the upcoming primaries.

He also said his words are not meant to help in Trump’s effort to take down Clinton, saying Republicans have all the ammunition they need on Clinton, even after Trump told “Fox News Sunday” that he plans to use Sanders’ words against Clinton in the general election. “Now if it doesn’t pull together, I think I’m still going to win”. Before both candidates turned their sights on Indiana, Clinton trounced Sanders in his birth state of NY.

“They’ve got to go into all of the blue districts, It’s winner-take-all by congressional district and we’re talking about finding Republican delegates in Maxine Waters’ district in order to send a loyal slate to the convention”. “I’m not going to get into that”. “So when you have somebody who says he’s going to be tough and he’s going to get results, but he doesn’t tell you how he’s going to do it, I think we will have a lot to contrast with”, she said.

The steady spigot of financial support that has bolstered Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign for over a year is showing signs of weakness, with the Vermont senator’s April haul roughly $20 million less than he collected in March. Once I start on Hillary, you’ll see the numbers change.

“She’s done a lousy job in so many ways and even women don’t like her. They don’t like her”, he said.

Trump stood behind his remarks on Sunday. “I had not really heard that”. “I wouldn’t even call myself a huge Hillary fan, but I’m so in admiration of what she’s doing”.

“The fact is, the only card she has is the woman’s card”, he said.
