The Surface Phone has been one device from Microsoft which has been expected to come out since quite a long time.
Windows Central revealed that Microsoft has plans to release the Surface phone in April 2017 via “new channels”.
The Surface 3 Docking Station features a gigabit Ethernet port, Mini DisplayPort video output (supporting resolution up to 3840x2600px), two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Surface Phone rumors are doing the rounds for more than a year now.
It appears Gabe was just teasing us somewhat, as German site Dr Windows reports, from a trusted source, that the feature is already in development. In the Windows 10’s “Minimum Requirements Page”, a “MSM8998” is listed among the other chipsets that can support the OS. Its sleek metal frame and handsome 5-inch HD OLED display lends the Lumia 650 sophisticated design at an affordable price. This might be the cause of the buy-one, get-one deal in the Microsoft Stores, which prompted a slur of speculations that the Surface phone might be near at hand than previously thought. The specs under the hood of the third variant will be headed by Snapdragon 830 processor and 8 GB of RAM, along with its whopping 512 GB of internal storage space.
The Redmond-headquartered tech titan has also made the offer available for loyal customers in the United States. It is unknown if the sale will happen in other countries.

There have been various news stories on this phone, but now that many months have passed, the company is yet to make an official announcement on the release of this device.
