Prince’s Paisley Estate Will Become a Musuem
Friends and family gathered over the weekend at Prince’s Chanhassen, Minnesota, mansion – dubbed Paisley Park – to remember the music legend a few days after his sudden death.

She added, “The cause of his death remains unknown and it will be at least four weeks before we receive the results of the autopsy”. There was a small private funereal held Saturday at Paisley Park, according to a statement released by Prince’s publicist. Reports vary as to the size of Prince’s estate – between US$300 million and about US$150m (NZ$437.65 – NZ$218.84m).This update has been corrected to show that Prince’s brother-in-law is Maurice Phillips, not Maurice Nelson.
Meanwhile in Brooklyn on Saturday night, rock star Bruce Springsteen opened his concert with a cover of Prince’s Purple Rain. Each box contained a handout with a colour photo of the musician and a black T-shirt with “3121” printed on it in white – the numbers were the title of a Prince album. Plans are under way for a musical celebration of Prince, with details to be announced later, she said.
After a 911 call on Thursday morning, paramedics found Prince unresponsive in an elevator.

Prince was a Jehovah’s Witness which required a funeral to take place within a week of his death.
The site said his plane made an emergency landing on April 15 in Moline, Illinois, where he was briefly hospitalised.
Prince’s body was released to his family on Friday afternoon after a Minnesota medical examiner performed an autopsy that will reveal what killed the singer in the coming weeks.
The music industry and beyond reacted strongly to Prince’s death, with the likes of President Barack Obama, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and Katy Perry paying tribute following his death. The 57 year old singer’s service was not open to fans, but rather close friends and family, including his longtime collaborator/protégé Sheila E.

She says Prince gave the couple a nod and that she was “in heaven” for the rest of her life.
