Some analysts are projecting a North American opening around $200 million next weekend. Much of the plot is directed towards Captain America and Iron Man’s brawl and not just a continuation of The Winter Soldier. Marvel’s new superhero movie Captain America: Civil War has raked in US$200.2 million from 37 offshore regions – and this is before its USA release on Friday, according to Deadline.
Its gargantuan foreign debut comes from 37 major territories representing approximately 63% of the global marketplace.

No surprise that the movie performed will in IMAX, with $9.6 million of the foreign box office haul coming from premium showings.
Meanwhile, “Captain America: Civil War” is doing well in the cinemas worldwide.
