Silver reigns on Met Gala red carpet

This year’s Super Bowl of fashion – the Met Gala – honoured “Fashion In An Age of Technology” but all it did was celebrate the smart casual dress code. The Met Gala, also known as “the Oscars of fashion”, is taking place as we sepak, and stars are strutting down the red carpet for one of the most glamorous nights of the year!
She also flashed plenty of leg in the dress’s trailing see-through skirt, through which she also showed off some towering black strappy heels.
Her floral Burberry was undeniably stunning, but in a sea of shimmering metallic frocks and edgy silver make-up, it looked a little like Blake didn’t get the memo about this year’s futuristic theme.
Madonna flaunted her exposed buttocks in lacy Givenchy, while Beyonce wore a rubbery looking gown in peach, no Jay Z in sight.
Taylor Swift, also a co-host of the gala, went full-on gladiator to go with her fierce new tousled platinum locks.
She has denied that she is “Becky with the good hair” – but Rita Ora is reportedly skipping the New York Met Gala in order to avoid a run-in with Beyonce. It’s the ultimate Instagram bait, with the celebrity elite walking the red carpet where ALL your questions are answered – which celebrity will team up with which designer and what will they do with the theme?
Actresses Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, Lena Dunham and Sarah Jessica Parker went for black or white; and models Naomi Campbell, Karlie Kloss, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, all took time to wow the crowd.
Lupita Nyong’o donned a custom Calvin Klein Collection jade sequin dress with velvet straps, her hair standing high in a conical-shape ‘do. Last year, Kim Kardashian had a handler for her dress’s feather terrain.
Ivanka Trump, meanwhile, chose a red Ralph Lauren jumpsuit-dress combination. “I want to dedicate this song to my attractive husband, I love you so much”, she told the crowd at Marlins Park.

“Vibes”, was all he said.
