Modern Warfare Remastered: maps, dedicated servers and more

All we know for certain is that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is getting a HD remastering and we’re very, very, VERY excited about that prospect. With its pricing and date format, it is quite possibly for the Canadian version of the game.

Rumors were swirling about next Call of Duty game, and this morning, they’ve been confirmed.

Are any of you intrigued by Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or do you think the series needs a break? As you would expect from a remaster, this version contains high resolution textures and new graphical effects to bring it up to the standards of a current-gen game.

The game is all set to release worldwide on November 4 for all platforms (Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC) and, as teased by the heritage video, the game is being developed by Infinity Ward.

Legacy Edition and Digital Legacy Edition – Includes both “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” and “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered”: $79.99. There’s no word on a standalone release.

The trailer shows that it looks like players will still be fighting one another, rather than aliens, though the game does take you into space more than ever before. What do you think of the direction of this Call of Duty? And even though multiplayer and Zombie modes are confirmed to return, not much is known yet, and more information on both modes will be revealed later this year.
