LeEco Le 1S Eco under ‘Make in India’ launched in India
Called the Ecosystem Membership Program, it will let customers access local and worldwide movies, TV shows, and music on their LeEco devices.

LeEco Le 1s (Eco) Price: The smartphone is priced at Rs 10,899 and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart. LeEco says it will offer the supertainment package for Rs 9,999 during the first flash sale on May 12. William Lee, VP Content for Asia Pacific at LeEco said, “LeEco is the sole company that delivers a membership program which integrates terminals, clouds and applications in India”.
Featuring a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) In-cell IPS LCD display with 500-nit brightness and a pixel density of 403ppi, the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based LeEco Le 1s (Eco) runs the company’s EUI interface, and is powered by an 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC clocked at 1.85GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM. “So, we are hopeful that in the next two-three months, we should get it”, LeEco India Smart Electronics Business Chief Operating Officer Atul Jain told PTI here.
The Chinese internet and technology conglomerate is set to host an event in Mumbai on Tuesday where it is rumoured to launch content services and new hardware. Besides providing users content, this membership programme also integrated a comprehensive eco-services, like personal clouding services – LeEco Drive, LeMall and aftersales services. It has also partnered with YuPP TV for live streaming of TV channels, with a list of over 100 channels.
The exclusive Live and Le Vidi under LeEco’s membership could reshape the entertainment industry and change the way users consume entertainment in India.
Live and Le Vidi will be available to all new Superphone users.
The “Made for India” tag refers to the language support, and LeEco is going to bring in 10 more Indian languages via.an OTA update – Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjab, and Oriya. Music with Hungama services will be online at the third quarter of 2016. Users can even have a personalized playlist with their favourite tracks on top and being recommended.

The LeEco membership will offer services such as video-on-demand service, in partnership with Eros Now.
