“They’ve been doing their job, as have we, it’s just a shame we didn’t get the three points”.

The Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern were completely gutted last night following the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion, which all but ended their hopes of lifting the Premier League title. If they win, they win.
Mauricio Pochettino insists Tottenham will not give up on winning the title even after a major setback at White Hart Lane.
They are now in second place just 8 points away from league-leading Leicester with just four match days remaining including tonight.Tottenham remain five points clear of Arsenal and Manchester City in second position and Pochettino admits that holding onto that position is the first priority for his players.
After missing Sunday’s 4-0 win over Swansea, Vardy will now also be suspended for Sunday’s match at Old Trafford, where Leicester could wrap up its first ever Premier League title with victory. “You can’t comprehend it, it’s unbelievable but at the same time they thoroughly deserve it, ” Fletcher said.
“We played very well in the first half and we spent a lot of energy when it was only 1-0”.
“They’d have to lose two and draw one and we’d have to win all three”.
Harry Kane added: “It’s not gone, as we have to keep fighting”. They’d been there and done it, they were calm, and the manager had been there and done it.
“We want to give them the title, okay, now that’s hard, but if we give them the Champions League next season it’s the right step”.
‘What people say is not down to us, that’s their points of view.
“We need to be strong in our mind and prepare for the next game”. Manager Tony Pulis was far more assertive than his team, bellowing instructions as opposite number Pochettino remained typically composed. We lack a bit of quality at times but I can’t fault their work-rate and they work within a shape that suits them.
It was an evening that celebrated why the Premier League is so enjoyed all around the world. “So, we’ll go to Chelsea and try to win the game”.
All that seemed left was for the hosts to score a second and they almost did so just before the hour mark when Erik Lamela skewed Eriksen’s pullback onto the post and Kane was unable to turn in the rebound.
“We’ve got to move on, Chelsea are next and hopefully United do us a favour and we’ll go from there”.

Chelsea pair Cesc Fabregas and Asmir Begovic, plus acting head coach Guus Hiddink, have said they would like Leicester to beat Spurs to the title but Kane is unconcerned by the potential conflict of interest and urged his teammates to “keep fighting”.
