Jimmy Kimmel to guest host Live with Kelly Ripa
Ripa has not commented on the said rumor but it seems ABC is having a hard time searching for the right replacement as Strahan’s last day on set, which is May 13, draws near.

Kelly’s co-star Michael Strahan has quit the show in order to focus on “Good Morning America” and the blonde beauty will be joined by a number of guest presenters while a replacement is being sought, starting with Jimmy.
The “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” vet may also return to guest co-host a few episodes of the chat show, an insider told the Daily News on Tuesday.
“[Regis has] already been approached”.
Overtures also have been made to Cooper’s CNN colleague Don Lemon, sources tell THR.
Last week, amidst the drama on LIVE! with Kelly and Michael, Ripa showed the audience a photo from their anniversary celebration, where she’s rocking the same dress she wore 20 years prior for their wedding.

Kimmel’s late-night talk show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, airs on the same network. So executives will need to negotiate a new deal with Ripa after they find a co-host.
Kelly Ripa is still here, damnit. Speaking with Hoda Kotb on her Sirius XM radio show in March, 2015, Regis confessed that despite both living in NY, he doesn’t see or speak Kelly, his co-host of 10 years. After a tumultuous week of snubs and non-appearances, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan appeared together on “Live”, celebrating their big Daytime Emmy win.

Laughing, Ripa added, “You can’t plan this!”
