Massachusetts Republicans elect 27 delegates
Trump narrowly defeated Sen. “That’s where he was the keynote speaker at the California Republican Convention on Friday”, reported NBC Bay Area.

The Trump campaign, caught off guard by the selection of delegates in other states, has released a slate of 27 delegates and 27 alternates in MA – all loyal Trump supporters.
A final 12 at-large delegates will be elected by the Massachusetts Republican State Committee on May 25.
Trump leads in overall California polling, but 159 delegates are awarded by outcomes in the state’s 53 congressional districts, three in each.
Trump won the Rhode Island primary on Tuesday in a landslide.
Undecided Republicans, including conservative Tea Party activist Mary Jordan, are “trying to do our homework and compare notes and make the best decision”.
Of the 341 possible votes on the delegate slate, more than 300 rank-and-file Republicans voted to send the slate to Cleveland, and eight no votes were recorded. Trump easily won the state’s March 1 primary.
“The delegates are supposed to represent the people and that didn’t happen”, Schenberg said.
“Those people are starting to release they have to be held accountable, that they have to vote with the will of the people”.
State party chairman Jim Brulte said demonstrators had tried to block Mr Trump’s motorcade but that the candidate got through.
It’s all a moot point if Trump can clinch the nomination ahead of the convention.
Schroeder said the Cruz campaign has mobilized 41,000 volunteers in a process that started last June.
Trump earlier told the convention the nominating contest was effectively over and the party needed to rally around him.
An investigation determined Rina Shah Bharara, 32, is actually a Virginia resident and therefore ineligible to be a D.C. delegate, said Patrick Mara, executive director of the District of Columbia’s GOP.
Fiorina ripped Trump as an impostor and part of a crooked political system that rewarded big donors. “I think so, to be honest with you, because they’re going to be voting for me (not the party)”.
The same scenario has played out elsewhere.
Cruz spoke Saturday to the state Republican Party convention outside San Francisco.
“I do deal with leaders around the world”, Mr Trump said on CNN’s New Day, when the host, Mr Chris Cuomo, asked him about President Barack Obama’s mocking his lack of foreign policy chops at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner over the weekend.
Missouri Democrats, meanwhile, met Thursday to pick roughly half of their convention delegates.
However, barring a prolonged fight at the national convention, a Kasich nomination is unlikely. Hillary Clinton narrowly defeated Bernie Sanders in Missouri’s Democratic primary.

Trump or Cruz would need 1,237 delegates to claim the nomination, and right now Trump has 996 and Cruz has 565, according to the Associated Press delegate tracker.
