“Picking a candidate that is talented, tough – she takes on Trump really well, I think, and she takes on Hillary Clinton very well, as well”, Bush said. “I see Ted Cruz as a principled conservative who has dedicated his career to advocating the Reagan agenda”.
Although the Princeton group projects Trump will succeed no matter what happens in IN, others portray the contest as pivotal. Ted Cruz in the Republican presidential contest, just days before Indiana’s critical Tuesday primary.
Kasich, who is running a distant third to Trump and Cruz, pointed to the protests and Trump’s clandestine arrival as a sign of the billionaire’s divisiveness.
Trump also pointed out how large his wins were despite there being three people in the running for the Republican nomination.

Cruz has repeatedly stated that IN would “play a pivotal role” IN the White House race, making moves to “barnstorm” the state and recruit support for his anti-Trump efforts.
“I’m not gonna be campaigning in IN”, he said this week. His argument that the delegates need to follow the wishes of the party will become that much stronger if Cruz, and Kasich, simply keep losing.
Recent surveys have given Trump an advantage between 2 and 8 points over Cruz as the pair battle for support in the Hoosier State.
Fiorina, the former Hewlett Packard chief executive who lived for a time in Palo Alto, is liked by Republican voters there.

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley liked Marco Rubio until he dropped out, then said she preferred John Kasich, but he didn’t have a path to the nomination. As he has been on the campaign trail, he was full of praise for the governor, calling Pence a “positive, unifying force” in the Republican Party and an “extraordinary governor”.
