“Microsoft’s phone business is struggling: Sales of its flagship Lumia brands are down 72% over the same time previous year”.

It appears that Microsoft is making a new version of its infamous Paint program that will be released as an app for Windows 10.

Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10 update is dubbed Anniversary Update and will hit PCs, tablets and smartphones this summer.

Most recently, an update released for the beta version brings an improved UI on Windows Phone devices, with a redesigned app bar that’s supposed to bring the app in line with the design language used by Microsoft for Windows 10 and its own apps. In Windows 10 version 1511, these policies are applicable to users of the Enterprise and Education editions only. And Microsoft notes it has some great Windows 10 features like Live Tiles, an adaptive UI, and drag and drop. The Redmond based tech giant is investing heavily in the Surface Phone project and wants it to be a marquee handset in all the respects. According to Forbes, the Surface Phone would come with more memory and significantly enhanced graphical performance.

However, even though Microsoft may not launch successors to the Lumia 950 and 950 XL phones this year, other manufacturers like HP, Lenovo and Vaio have launched several Windows 10 phones to keep the operating system afloat in the medium term.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is a large device that can do many things that you would be able to do on a standard PC.
