Man United want Jose Mourinho to be new boss… in 2017!
There have been suggestions more recently, including from Van Gaal himself, that he will be given the chance to see out his deal, and The Sun reported on Thursday that executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has asked Mourinho to wait 12 months before taking the job.

As such it has been claimed United will ask Mourinho to wait until next year before handing him the manager’s job – but it remains to be seen if the former Real Madrid manager will entertain such an idea.
While Wilson, 20, is fully focused on that aim, he is optimistic Louis van Gaal has been watching his progress on the south coast with interest.
“There’s been some good signs over the last few months with some of the younger players”. It was a story that was as incredible as it was ridiculous and should never have been printed.
“Chelsea will be stronger next year, Arsenal, and Man City too with their new manager”.
There may clubs in England, Europe, the United States of America and China who would be happy to offer him employment for a season but it would be hard for Mourinho to work in circumstances where the football world knows he is simply biding his time.
Don’t be surprised if Mourinho is in the mix to take over as England manager if Roy Hodgson fails to make his mark at Euro 2016, but that may be a long shot in his list of future employers.
Despite criticizing the style of play United have displayed under Louis van Gaal, the Irishman also suggested the club keeps the manager in place if he wins the FA Cup.
The 20-year-old made 13 league appearances under Van Gaal last season but scored just one goal, before being loaned out to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Championship in 2015-16.

“Laurent Blanc should come in to Manchester United and start from there”, he uttered.
