Delete your account: Texas A&M and the Great Twitter Hemorrhage of 2016
On Wednesday night, Martell exercised his right to look elsewhere, announcing he was re-opening his recruitment.

Five-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey of Corona (Calif.) Centennial, Martell’s former teammate at Gorman and top Ohio State target, cut the Aggies from his list.

Four-star wide receiver Mannie Netherly of Crosby, Texas, announced that he was no longer committed to Texas A&M, citing Moorehed’s Twitter rant as the reason he’s no longer interested in the Aggies. Moorehead then attempted to cram the toothpaste back into the tube, but stepped even further into it with a subsequent tweet. “I can’t really even vibe with you”. Spavital was the offensive coordinator and was Martell’s primary recruiter to the Aggies, but he was not retained this offseason and moved onto Cal. There is no accountability and no sense of positivity when it comes to adversity.
Morehead later tweeted that he wasn’t talking specifically about you-know-who – college coaches are prohibited by the NCAA from publicly discussing specific recruits until they sign letters-of-intent – but there was that “loyalty” word again.
Shortly after that, Mannie Netherly, who had already committed to the program, announced he was also de-committing after seeing “what kind of person my future coach is”.
Despite his high recruiting ranking, Martell is on the smaller side for quarterbacks at 5-10 and 203 pounds, especially in the rough-and-tumble Southeastern Conference.
