IS continues to hit Turkish border town with rockets
At least 10 people were killed and scores more critically injured after a auto bomb exploded in a village near Homs, Syria, and then a suicide bomber detonated his device among the crowd of people who gathered to help the injured.

At least nine people were killed in twin bombings that rocked Syria’s central province of Homs on Thursday, a military source said.
Homs Gov. Talal Barrazi told The Associated Press that the blasts were trigged by a auto bomb and a suicide attacker. Another attack in December claimed 32 lives. Islamic State claimed responsibility for a bombing in Homs in January, which killed at least 24 people.
Differing casualty figures are not uncommon in the immediate aftermaths of explosions.
The truce was announced by US officials in agreement with Russian Federation, in an effort to extend Syria’s fragile cease-fire to the deeply contested city.
The IS captured parts of the al-Shaer gas field in the countryside of Homs, but ongoing battles are still raging at the site between the Syrian army and the group.
Turkey’s state-run news agency says a salvo of rockets has struck southern Turkey, wounding four people.
According to Amaq, a news agency linked to the terrorists, the group not only took control of the gas field but also killed 30 soldiers stationed at the facility of the area.
Such incidents have become a regular occurrence in the border town, which is home to a significant Syrian refugee population.
Cross-border fire has left 20 people dead and dozens of others wounded this year.
