Ranieri reacts to having superstars at Leicester City
Ranieri was applauded on Thursday at his first pre-match press conference since his side were crowned champions, as more than 100 journalists raised glasses of champagne to toast the popular 64-year-old.

Claudio Ranieri is sticking with Leicester’s title-winning blueprint and said the club won’t be in the market for established, expensive talent to strengthen the Premier League champions. If 20 owners have the same money for the players, only one can win and three will go down.
Claudio Ranieri will retire when he leaves Leicester City, says his former assistant coach Christian Damiano.
Leicester are owned by Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who spoke in 2014 of his readiness to spend £180m to secure the Foxes a top-five finish in the Premier League within three years.
“How many years after Nottingham Forest and Blackburn have another team won?” said the Italian.
“I am happy for him and the players”.
“I am going to try to hold back the tears”, said Morgan, a Jamaica worldwide.
Leicester started the campaign as 5,000-1 outsiders for the title after nearly being relegated last season.
“We don’t need the superstars”, Ranieri said Tuesday, a day after the trophy was clinched with two games to spare. I want to thank my players, chairman, staff and fans…
Everton boss Roberto Martinez, who takes his side to Leicester on Saturday at 17:30 BST, thinks a shock victor of the Premier League is likely to be a one-off. Stay here one year more, then maybe you can go somewhere else’. A top executive with the Premier League since 1999, even Scudamore had to admit he had a bit of egg on his face.
“If we celebrated on the pitch I think it would sink in, but we were at someone’s house when it happened, cheering on another team which is something we wouldn’t normally do”.
“Never could I have imagined this”. Karishma told Sky News: “It’s been very tense and we have all been on edge waiting to see if they can do it”.
“I’m very, very confident”, Ranieri said.

“I was sorry how it ended with Roma as the whole family are Giallorossi fans so when my son was working for the club we were also guests at Trigoria”. We made a fantastic performance away.
