“I had the good pleasure of getting to contribute a song on the latest “Star Wars” movie”, Hamilton said.
Filmmaker J.J. Abrams made his Broadway debut by singing a track from Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The performance was part of Lin’s Ham4Ham show, a weekly event presented to entertain the hundreds of fans hoping to win the lottery for a ticket to the popular musical. And that’s why many people will probably be interested to hear his Star Wars creation.
The song Jabba Flow comes from the Maz Kanata Cantina scene midway through The Force Awakens. Before J.J. helped Lin get down to the first live recording of Jabba Flow that we know of, the story of how their relationship came to be was told yet again. Miranda said he wrote it in “Huttese”, which is Jaba the Hut’s native language. “It’s literally a Shaggy intergalactic remix”.

There exists a multitude of mysteries sprung from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That just makes the song that much more awesome. perhaps for May the 4th next year, Miranda could translate one of Hamilton’s showstopper numbers into Hut-ese as well?
