Trump poses with taco bowl: ‘I love Hispanics!’
In fact, reactions to Trump’s “I love Hispanics” tweet are hilarious, heartbreaking, and harsh. It appears he’s in his office because behind him are photos of himself and a small collection of second-place golf trophies. “They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems”, the real estate mogul declared during his candidacy speech previous year.

His tweet, part-advertisement for a restaurant in the Trump Tower, part glib acknowledgement of a holiday celebrated by Mexican-Americans, drew quick condemnation on Twitter.
The good news is he’s stopped saying “the Hispanics”, but the bad news is everything else about this, ever.
Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks as his son-in-law Jared Kushner, left, his daughter Ivanka, his son Eric, Eric’s wife Lara Yunaska and Trump’s wife Melania look on, during a campaign victory party after rival candidate Senator Ted Cruz dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination following the results of the in state primary, at Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York, U.S., May 3, 2016. That’s not the only suspicious part of this photo. Secondly, Trump attempted to promote Trump Tower Grill…but the Grill doesn’t sell taco bowls. So where did this #CincoDeMayo meal come from?
Thing is, it’s the wrong restaurant.
And Jose Antonio Vargas, a Filipino American TV producer and writer, proposed an end to taco bowls altogether.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best”.
Trump posted the picture to Twitter and Facebook with the caption, Happy Cinco de Mayo!

The survey found that in a general election scenario between Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Trump, the former Secretary of State would score 76 percent of the Latino vote. He’s built his campaign on isolating and otherizing the Hispanic community, so he’s definitely got an uphill battle. As Spanish, Mexican and Anglo citizenries began mingling in the early 20th century, the phrase “Tex Mex” came to pass, with this dish becoming its orange chicken equivalent.
