Hatem Ben Arfa ‘in talks over free transfer to Barcelona’
Hatem Ben Arfa is set to complete the comeback of all comebacks with a move to Barcelona, having been rejected by Steve Bruce at Hull and released by Mike Ashley at Newcastle just over a year ago.

Ben Arfa only signed a one-year deal with Nice, so is available on a free transfer this summer, making him a potential bargain for the Blues.
Ben Arfa has netted 17 goals in to go with five assists and has been nominated for Ligue 1 Player of the Season and Midfielder of the Season.
The Blaugrana have often been criticised for overusing their attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, and are turning to the French market to find reinforcements.
Ben Arfa, 29, is out of contract this summer and L’Equipe reported on Friday that the former Newcastle attacker was in advanced negotiations with the Spanish league leaders.
Former Barca and Les Bleus star Eric Abidal is understood to have brokered the possible move with Ben Arfa out of contract in the summer. “But personally I would be very happy if the transfer is completed”.

“I would be very happy for him and for Nice if this move comes off”, Rivère told France 3. “But it is not done yet according to what I am told”.
