Narrow victory for Bernie Sanders
Although he is the sole Republican candidate in the race, Trump is still working to secure the 1,237 delegates required to clinch the nomination before July’s convention.

During the primary, voters essentially decide which presidential candidate will get the state’s delegates.
Until recently, the California primary had looked like the make-or-break contest for candidates on both sides of the aisle.
The lawsuit came after a Sanders staffer exploited a software error to improperly access confidential voter information collected by Clinton’s team. Fallon said he anticipates that Trump will continue to grab headlines and dominate the news cycle as he has in the primary election.
When he delivered his victory speech last night he was much more subdued and controlled – more statesmanlike. Doug heads up her campaign in the Central Valley and has been overwhelmed by those who want to vote for her. “We had more people than we could handle to register for democratic”.
There were no chants of “build a wall”, but rather mention of getting jobs for the Hispanic community and everyone.
“You read that tweet, that is nothing that I have ever said about Hillary Clinton”, he told Blitzer.
But of course he is not the only man left in the party, Ohio Governor John Kasich is still in there. But he urged them to be sensitive to vote according to the will of the voters of the states they represent. “He can say provocative things as he has done throughout this campaign, and it will probably lead to news content. That does not mean he put himself in a better position to win the general election”. “Trump’s cynical sowing of division will render the GOP into angry, irrelevant status for decades”.
And just as the Republicans did at their convention two weeks ago, Democrats are seeing some battles because of the hotly contested presidential race.
Sanders also likely received a boost because independents, who typically favor him, were able to participate in the primary.
His priorities are becoming increasingly clear: an emphasis on changing the campaign finance system and the role of superdelegates in the Democratic nominating system.
Sanders’ upset win in IN kept the Democratic race going without changing the likely outcome, given Clinton’s massing of delegates. A total of 2,382 delegates are needed to be named the Democratic presidential nominee.

In order to tie her in pledged delegates, Sanders would need to decimate Clinton in California, where 475 pledged delegates are at stake. He contended that Democrats do well when turnout is high and that Republicans do poorly when turnout is high. “We’re going to have a tough campaign”, Clinton said during an interview with MSNBC Tuesday. He said Trump, on the other hand, “is someone who never apologizes for anything”.
