The University of Arizona women’s golf team concluded play at the NCAA Bryan Regional at the Traditions Golf Club on Saturday in Bryan, Texas, finishing in second place at even-par after carding team scores of 285 (-3), 282 (-6), and 297 (+9).

Vaughn, who finished fifth in the NCAAs last season while playing as an individual, was 2 over after nine holes Friday, but shot 42 on the back nine.
In a seesaw battle, the Cardinal and No. 2 USC deadlocked at 4-over 856 to secure trips to the NCAA Championships, May 20-25 at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon. Chan and Stanford’s Mariah Stackhouse each had putts on 18 that could’ve given both teams out-right wins, but both missed.
Also advancing from the 18-team regional were Arkansas, Ohio State, North Carolina and Virginia, along with individuals Andrea Wong of UC Davis, Jennifer Kupcho of Wake Forest and Sarah Burnham of Michigan State.
