Say what you want about Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, but you can’t deny that the man has the capacity to say the most outrageous things. He reiterated that United are better than a year ago as they made their way to the FA Cup finals and were in the Champions League.

“I don’t think Matteo Darmian is used to being a champion and David De Gea was never champion, so I don’t agree with the way you make the question”.
“I think it’s one of our best performances this season, but we didn’t score the winning goal and we were so close, so it’s a big pity”.
Leicester will be crowned Premier League champions on Sunday if they win the match at Old Trafford.

Van Gaal knows that Manchester United’s success next season will rest a lot on the signing of the 25-year-old Frenchman.
