LG Nexus comes to life in new renders

When it arrives, we can expect at least one new Nexus smartphone to hit the market running Android M, which could fit the molds shown above.

The recent leak of the outline of what is claimed to be the LG Nexus certainly garnered a lot of discussion.

From what we can see, and as it is reported, this is a very raw drawing of what we could eventually see.

The rumor mills have been churning ever since news surfaced a few months back that Google wasn’t working on just one smartphone to replace the Nexus 6, but two. Or at least some cases based on the dimensions for the next Nexus 5. There is a picture of a Nexus 5 floating around, which shows a square fingerprint sensor hacked onto the back of a Nexus 5 – there could be merit in that. That said, keep in mind that this is not the actual rear of the upcoming LG Nexus 5 (2015). First of all, the three holes in the back could support an intriguing theory. There are also cutouts on the side, presumably for the volume and lock buttons, and large cutout on the bottom that’s likely for a charging port. The LG made Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to have several upgrades over Nexus 5 (2013).

Little else is known at this point as regards this purported Nexus smartphone from LG.

The LG “Bullhead” is rumored to be the smaller of the two 2015 Nexus phones, purportedly coming with a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 808 processor, and a 2700mAh battery. The handset reportedly sports the codename “Bullhead”. With Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung Group (NASDAQ:SSNLF) gearing up to launch their flagships this fall, we are inclined to believe Google will do the same in a bid to take on the dominant players in the industry. Onleaks has a good track record when it comes to revealing yet-to-be-announced devices, but a hefty dose of skepticism is still advised in regard to all leaks.
