Maryland claimed the overall No. 1 seed and will open the tournament by hosting either Quinnipiac or Hartford, which will face off in one of two play-in games Wednesday.

The game was certainly a tale of two halves and in the first, NU was inspired. The championship marked Maryland’s fifth conference tournament title in history, and third regular season and conference tournament sweep. We just couldn’t execute on a couple of things we’d like to have back.
