Dole isn’t the first Republican heavyweight to cave in and show support for the party’s presumptive nominee.

“Bill Clinton was the worst in history and I have to listen to her talking about it?” Much of the negative advertising against Trump is expected to focus on belittling statements he’s made about women in the past.

In his defense, Trump said he made his controversial remarks before he knew he would seek the presidency.
