The OnePlus 2 smartphone has received an impressive response from consumers as over one million people have already registered for the invite.
OnePlus says people are clamoring to get its OnePlus 2 smartphone, which we recently went hands-on with, and as such invite requests have surpassed the 1 million mark…in the first 72 hours.
The OnePlus 2 is set to launch on August 11, 2015, and will retail from $329 to $389. Also, it features an Alert Slider button and a fingerprint scanner which was integrated into the physical button, while the OnePlus One has only three capacitive buttons placed below the screen.
“The OnePlus 2 is a 5.5” phone with a 1080p 401 ppi display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. They said improve the camera, to the company did.

It supports a 13-mega-pixel rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, laser auto-focus, dual-LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization system. Now, the entire Invites system feels more like a marketing gimmick, simply to increase the hype and keep the discussions going, thus getting more attention for the phones, especially since nearly all of OnePlus’ marketing campaigns are conducted online, for free.
