A research was performed by the jewellery comparison website, comparejewellery.com, who made a study on those bride’s engagement ring whose marriages ended by separation or divorce.
Then the company came out with the most common design of ring in the most unsuccessful marriages, and hence they termed that ring as unluckiest ring of the world.
The study found that the most common traits among ‘unlucky’ rings were white gold bands, large, square cut stones and diamonds on the shoulder of the ring. They also said that this ring’s average price was about £822.30.

The company head, Ali O’Neill, said that this study will defiantly change the reputation of this ring as it was most common style of ring liked by the couples.
