The MLC’s bodyguard has also been detained by the police. The gatekeeper has told the police that the projectile that hit Aditya was not shot from his rifle but rather from Rocky’s own pistol.

Aditya, who was a Class XII examinee, was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital.
Rocky is absconding while his history sheeter father Bindeshwari Prasad Yadav alias Bindi Yadav, known in the area for his muscle and money power, and the legislator’s bodyguard have been arrested for allegedly helping the culprit escape, police said. He reportedly told the police that the bullet was sacked from the personal revolver of the politician’s son, “accidentally”.
A manhunt has been launched for the arrest of Rocky Kumar Yadav too, the DIG said. Rocky, who was travelling in the SUV with a security guard, was livid at the ‘interception.’ Recounts Aditya’s friend, “When we stopped, they forced us to get out of the auto and roughened us up”. It tore through the rear windscreen and hit Aditya on his head.
Both the vehicles have also been seized.
Defending his son Rocky, Bindi Yadav said that his son shot the youth with his licensed revolver in self defence as he was under attack.
Mr Yadav has alleged that his son was beaten up by Aditya and his friend who were drunk.
Talking to ANI, Bindi Yadav defended his son and alleged that his son was assaulted by those sitting in the victim’s vehicle.
The teenager was shot dead after he overtook an SUV carrying the MLC’s son.
“My son was roughed up by them”. They demanded the immediate arrest of the accused youth.
The incident acquired political overtones with BJP’s Prem Kumar, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, saying the incident was a testimony to the “return of jungle raj” in the state.

Another party leader Ali Anwar, on his part, assured that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would not spare anyone, who is involved in any kind of misdeed. His SUV was overtaken by one Aditya, nephew of another JD (U) leader.
