Ranieri demands a ‘happy ending’ to title race
Jesse Lingard admits that he is happy for the former Manchester United academy graduates in the Leicester City squad who are on the verge of winning the league title this season.

He said: “I can understand all of the happiness around the city, that is great but that’s… its the fans, we have to work”.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal made a blunder on Friday by claiming that goalkeeper David de Gea has “never” been a Premier League champion. It may just have cost Spurs their first title in half a century!
“By far this is the biggest future payout I’ve ever seen”, said Nick Bogdanovich, director of trading for William Hill’s USA sports betting operations in Las Vegas.
United have won 13 Premier League titles but the Foxes are 90 minutes away from upsetting the establishment and Schlupp feels he owes the Red Devils for helping him achieve his dream.
“It is a process of transition and now we are fighting for qualification for the Champions League and we are still in the FA Cup”.
The first opportunity to secure a maiden top-flight title comes when Ranieri’s side travel to Old Trafford, home of the Premier League’s most-successful club.
“So I don’t think that you can say that we have not played at a certain level”.
Van Gaal has a point but he has had plenty of time to implement his philosophy at United and results and performances have barely improved over the course of the campaign. It’s unbelievable. It’s history and we know this.
“We have to close the gap so the pressure is on us still”.
‘Next season United, Chelsea, (Manchester) City and Arsenal will be at the top again, ‘ said the Italian. A big ask, especially since they have to host the defending Champions, who despite their horrific start to the season under Jose Mourinho, have managed to turn it around under Guus Hiddink, and have been on quite a run of form.
“I think every club has played lousy matches, also Leicester City, but they have won their lousy matches”. It’s important for us to make a ideal game.

“I have seen it many, many times, I believe in team-building and this manager (Ranieri) has done that with this team”. Those three teams get relegated to a lower level – kicked out of the Premier League altogether.
