Not to worry, a new app is going to help you sort everything out, without picking up those pesky books.

Since reading from the beginning may be hard, as there are a few significant changes from the books to the television series, so the app provides spoiler free details and will only focus on giving fans supplement in the world of Westeros.

You can also browse material by theme or character, and passages include maps of lands and kingdoms to add spacial context to the text.

As reported by the publication users indicate to the app at which point in the series they are and the app will then pull up options for extracts from the “A Song Of Ice And Fire” saga which covers scenes that viewers may have already come across.

The app still looks to be useful for even those who are 100 percent up to speed on the books and show as a one-stop resource as well. If a long-time fan wants to look up a passage from the books quickly, this app gives them the power to do so, without having to go find their paperback copy of A Storm of Swords. In the meantime, A Game of Thrones: Get into the Books is available for download on iTunes UK.
