Mentioning that the scam came to light two years back, Kejriwal said, “What has the central government done in the last two years?”

Thousands of Congress party workers waving flags and shouting slogans joined the march, which was organized after the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) raised the heat in parliament accusing the then Congress-led government and party leaders of being involved in receiving bribes for for a multi-million dollar deal for 12 choppers from AgustaWestland.

“Everything was done to facilitate the contract to AgustaWestland, the contract was handed out at almost twice the genuine, estimated cost, norms were relaxed for them, and when all this came to attention, no action was taken against the company”, Parrikar said amid noisy protests from Congress lawmakers. Kejriwal said, addressing a rally at Jantar Mantar. “Do not try to frighten or defame us… life has taught me to struggle, we have faced a lot of challenges”.
