Upen Patel shocked fans when he made a decision to announce his break-up with Karishma Tanna on Twitter.

Rumours have been going around for a while that “Bigg Boss 8” co-contestants Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna have called it quits.
The couple took their relationship to the next level past year, by getting engaged, after Upen, 33, proposed the actress on dance reality show “Nach Baliye 7”, where they were participants. “Two people will find a way, if they want to be together”. They even made their fans believe they were about to get married soon. Considering Sooraj has never been spotted with Karishma, we reached out to the actor for his version of the story.
We all know by now that 2016 is the year of breakups in Bollywood and the new to jump on the bandwagon are Upen patel and Karishma Tanna. “Thank you for all your love”, read his tweet.
Though he did not reveal the reason behind the split, Upen wrote, “Too much has come to light & shown its true colours. But, rather a truth to be accepted (sic)”.
Most might say, it was a split waiting to happen. Looks like Upen himself is confused if he is in relationship with Karishma or not!

The couple who were often seen spending time in the past have not been posting pictures and making public appearances together in recent times.
