Andrew Thomas, who was paying for a auto at the time, saw the plane catch fire on impact.

A private plane has crashed into a vehicle auction warehouse at Blackbushe Airport. He said he saw the plane and several cars in flames.

“I have heard from staff here that four people were on the plane”.

Aerial images showed burned debris lying in a parking lot full of cars.

“You couldn’t see much, the smoke was so thick”.

The A30, which is nearby, has been closed following the incident.

Witnesses speaking to the Telegraph claimed the aircraft clipped a fence and flipped over before landing on a number of cars just after 3pm.

A spokesman for the Hampshire Fire Service said crews were notified at 3.10pm on Friday.

Four pumps and three other appliances are at the scene.

“The scene was attended by Blackbushe Fire and Rescue within minutes, followed by Hampshire fire, police and ambulance units”.

“At this stage we do not know anything other than that”.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch said it was aware and making inquiries.
