Lenovo launches Z1 powered by Zuk in India for Rs 13499

Lenovo Zuk Z1 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 13, 499 and will Amazon exclusive. The first flash sale of Lenovo Zuk Z1 will be held on 19th May, registrations for which will start at 1 pm today. The ZUK Z1 has metal design and comes with theme app, including wallpapers, fonts, icons, boot animations, and 3rd party apps, allowing users to customise their phones. First and foremost, it is worth mentioning that this is an worldwide variant of the device which ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12.1 out of the box.

“The Z1 is the world’s first mobile phone supporting USB 3.0 Type-C, enabling a 500 MB/s bandwidth, 10 times faster than USB 2.0”, said Zuk.

The Lenovo Zuk Z1 smartphone features a 5.5 inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. It has an internal memory of 64GB.

The phone packs a 13MP rear camera with high-end features like a Sony IMX214 sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS). According to company, the technology helps increase battery life. 4G LTE is also included here, and there are also two SIM card slots available. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and supports connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, Global Positioning System and Glonass. It comes with a fingerprint sensor as well which is integrated into the home button.
